MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES IN THE WORLD...

MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES IN THE WORLD...

Need some travel inspiration? Can't decide where to go? How about one of the world's most beautiful cities? If you're looking for a destination with urban pleasures but also with natural and man-made beauty, consider one of the cities below. They offer a combination of magnificent architecture and breathtaking vistas; art and nature in perfect harmony. If you want to make a list of the top places to see before you die, start with these beautiful cities:

1.

1 | VENICE
Among those who've seen it in person, the conclusion is unanimous: Venice is the most beautiful city in the world, and the only one that can truly be described as unique. Each building is a work of art, with their beauty enhanced when reflected on the canals that cross the city. Its magical scenery is fascinating and breathtaking at first sight, evoking the feeling of entering the setting of a real-life fairy tale. It's perhaps even unfair to all other cities to call Venice a city, as it is a place unlike any other, that no other can compare to, or ever be like.

2 | PARIS

The Seine and the bridges that cross it, the grand boulevards, the monumental squares, the magnificent monuments, the charming streets of Montmartre -- these images of Paris confirm that it is indeed the most elegant and sophisticated of all cities. It has inspired practically every major world capital, with every city claiming its own Champs-Elysèes, and Place des Vosges becoming the prototype of residential squares throughout Europe. Sit at an outdoor café table or go on a boat tour of the Seine and see it all romantically flash before your eyes.

3 | PRAGUE

It is known as the city of the thousand spires because of its profusion of grand, beautifully-preserved historical monuments dating from practically every period in history. Those spires are best admired from the bridges that cross the Vltava River, especially from the magnificent Charles Bridge, or standing in the stunningly beautiful Old Town Square. Add the atmospheric alleyways and cobbled streets that lead to it, and you know that few other cities delight the senses as much as Prague.

4 | LISBON

Magnificently sited on a series of hills running down to the grand Tagus River, Lisbon is one of the world's most scenic cities. Beautiful unexpected views are found at every turn down its colorful, picturesque streets, and especially from strategically-placed viewpoints or terraces at the top of each hill. The city has an unpolished, seductive appearance; an effortless beauty with captivating details such as cobbled designs, tiled façades, and pastel-colored buildings blending together to give it a singular atmosphere now lost in so many other cities. In such a stunning place, it's no wonder that many of the world's great explorers questioned what other beauties lied beyond the horizon when they departed from here in the 15th century.

5 | RIO DE JANEIRO

There are those who say God created the world in six days and devoted a seventh to Rio. The city is indeed blessed with one of the most stunning settings in the world, making it the most naturally beautiful city in the world. Even if it was deserted of buildings and population, anyone standing at the top of the famous Sugarloaf Mountain or by the Corcovado statue would see one of the world's most beautiful landscapes. Green, tropical luxuriance mixes with the blue of the ocean and the brightness of the sand at the beaches, proving that this is indeed "the marvelous city" as locals call it.

6 | AMSTERDAM

Each of the thousands of buildings that line Amsterdam's main canals can be classified as a monument, beautifully kept as apartments, offices, cafés, restaurants, and even brothels. All together they form an aesthetic uniformity that make the city one of the most charming in the world, a stunning place of bridges and bikes crossing canals, picturesque cobbled streets, and strikingly elegant architecture.

7 | FLORENCE

Florence is synonymous with the Italian Renaissance, known for the artistic heritage in its palaces and museum collections. Yet with all the beauty both inside and outside its palazzi's walls, it is the city as a whole that impresses the most. See it from Piazzale Michelangelo, a 19th century terrace overlooking the entire city, and you'll be looking at one of the most storybook-perfect cityscapes. You'll see its unspoiled skyline, the towers and domes of the heart of the city, its bridges, the hills in the distance, and the magnificent Duomo standing in the middle of it all. Few other places in the world will leave you as awestruck.

8 | ROME

The city standing on seven hills by the Tiber River is a treasure-trove of monuments among some of the most beautiful squares and classical architecture in the world. Because everyone visits Rome for its landmarks, its picturesque streets are often overlooked, such as those of the Trastevere district, filled with charming lanes, faded palazzi, and lovely homes decorated with flower boxes. It is on streets like those that Rome proves itself to really be eternal.

9 | BUDAPEST

Split in two by the Danube River, Budapest is the result of the merging of three cities. Buda is the hill with the royal palace and an old town filled with baroque and gothic monuments looking over the mostly-19th century Pest, crossed by broad avenues lined with elegant neo-renaissance buildings. Admire its setting and remarkable architecture (including the stunning Parliament Building) from the monumental Chain Bridge, and step into the old town for some of the most romantic lanes you'll ever stroll through.

10 | BRUGES

It's a small city, in a small country, hardly a metropolis, but huge on beauty. It's one of the world's best preserved medieval cities, filled with gothic and baroque monuments surrounded by an oval canal and extraordinarily romantic cobbled lanes. It's no wonder that it is one of Europe's most visited cities, helped by its location in the very center of the continent. It's an unmissable destination when in Brussels, and easily accessible from anywhere in central Europe. Its combination of gorgeous architecture and pretty, peaceful spots crisscrossed by canals make it one of the most magical sites to be experienced in the world.

About

Great Ocean Road:-

The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometres (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the world's largest war memorial. Winding through varying terrain along the coast and providing access to several prominent landmarks, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stack formations, the road is an important tourist attraction in the region.

General:-

The Great Ocean Road starts at Torquay and travels 244 kilometres westward to finish at Allansford near Warrnambool,[1] the largest city along the road.[2] The road is two lane (one in each direction),[3] and is covered by a speed limit changing between 50 kilometres per hour and 100 kilometres per hour.

The road is considered a tourist attraction in the area,[4] in which much of the road hugs coastline affectionately known as the Surf Coast between Torquay and Cape Otway and the Shipwreck Coast further west of Cape Otway, providing visibility of Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. The road traverses rainforests, as well as beaches and cliffs composed of limestone and sandstone, which is susceptible to erosion.[5][6] The road travels via AngleseaLorneApollo Bay, and Port Campbell, the latter being notable for its natural limestone and sandstone rock formations including Loch Ard GorgeThe GrottoLondon Arch (formerly London Bridge) and The Twelve Apostles.[7] At the stretch of the Great Ocean Road nearer to Geelong, the road meanders along the coast, with tall, almost-vertical cliffs on the other side of it. Road signs put up along the road warn motorists of possible rockfalls, which have occurred before.
The city of Geelong, close to Torquay, experiences great benefit from Australian and international visitors to the road; with Geelong Otway Tourism affirming it as an invaluable asset.[8][9] The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) listed the road as the state's top tourism experience in its Victoria 101 survey, based on spots recommended by members and the public on what they would recommend to visitors.[10] However, according to a survey performed by the Surf Coast Shire, residents have expressed concern that there are not enough safe crossings along the road.

History:-

The Great Ocean Road was first planned towards the end of the first world war, when chairman of the Country Roads BoardWilliam Calder, asked the State War Council for funds to be provided for returned soldiers to work on roads in sparsely populated areas in the Western District.[15] By the time of World War I, the rugged south-west coast of Victoria was accessible only by sea or rough bush track.[16] Besides being dedicated as a memorial, it was also envisaged that the road would connect isolated settlements on the coast, and become a vital transport link for the timber industry and tourism.[17]
Surveying for the road, tentatively titled the South Coast Road, started in 1918 – with the road suggested to travel from Barwon Heads, follow the coast west around Cape Otway, and end near Warrnambool.[18] In 1918, the Great Ocean Road Trust was formed as a private company, under the helm of president Howard Hitchcock. The company managed to secure £81,000 in capital from private subscription and borrowing, with Hitchcock himself contributing £3000. Money would be repaid by charging drivers a toll until the debt was cleared, and the road would then be gifted to the state.

BlackDay..16 December donot forget..

About
On 16 December 2014, seven gunmen affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) conducted a terrorist attack on the Army Public School in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar. The militants, all of whom were foreign nationals, included one Chechen, three Arabs and two Afghans. They entered the school and opened fire on school staff and children,[6][8] killing 141 people, including 132 schoolchildren, ranging between eight and eighteen years of age.[9][10] A rescue operation was launched by the Pakistan Army's Special Services Group (SSG) special forces, who killed all seven terrorists and rescued 960 people.[6][11][12]
This was the deadliest terrorist attack ever to occur in Pakistan, surpassing the 2007 Karsaz attack.[13] According to various news agencies and commentators, the nature and preparation of the attack was very similar to that of the Beslan school hostage crisis that occurred in the North Ossetia–Alania region of the Russian Federation in 2004.[14][15][16][17][18]
Pakistan responded to the attacks by lifting its moratorium on the death penalty, intensifying the War in North-West Pakistan and authorizing military courts to try civilians through a constitutional amendment. On 2 December 2015, Pakistan hanged four militants involved in the Peshawar massacre,[19] whereas the mastermind of the attack, Omar Khorasani, was killed in a drone strike in eastern Afghanistan on 9 July 2016.[20] The Supreme Court of Pakistan upheld the death sentences of two more convicts involved in the attack in the Said Zaman Khan v. Federation case on 29 August 2016.

HOW TO PIA PK-661 CRASH.

HOW TO PIA PK-661 CRASH.

Pakistan International Airlines Flight 661

(PK661/PIA661) was a domestic passenger flight from Chitral to Islamabad that crashed near Havelian on 7 December 2016.[3][4][5] There were forty-two passengers (including two sky marshals)[6] and five crew aboard the aircraft, an ATR 42-500 operated by Pakistan International Airlines.[1] All 47 people on board were killed, including singer-turned-preacher and entrepreneur Junaid Jamshed,[7] and the Deputy Commissioner of the District of Chitral.[

CRASH
The aircraft left Chitral Airport at 15:30 PST and was expected to land at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad at around 16:40.[5] Before the crash, the crew issued a mayday call.[11] The aircraft crashed 60 minutes after taking off,[3]leaving wreckage ablaze on the side of a hill between the villages of Saddha Batolni and Gug near Havelian in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province about 90 kilometres (56 mi) from the capital. The wreckage was reported to be strewn over an area about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) across.[12] Civilian and Pakistan Army personnel and helicopters were sent to the area for search and rescue operations. Taj Muhammad Khan, a government official, stated that all the bodies were burned beyond recognition.[5] The remains were taken by air to forensic laboratories in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for DNA testing to aid identification.[12]
This was the seventh aircraft accident resulting in hull loss sustained by PIA since 2000. Of the seven, one resulted in fatalities; that of PIA Flight 688 in 2006, in which 45 people were killed.[

Investigation

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for investigating civil aviation accidents in Pakistan. Aviation officials were reported to have suggested that the crash "may have been due to an engine failure."[16] Investigators retrieved the aircraft's flight recorder soon after the crash.[10

Pakistanii politics

Pakistanii politics:-
The Politics in Pakistan (Urdu: پاکستان کی سیاست‎) takes place within the framework under which the country is established by the Constitution.[1] Classified itself as a nation-state in South Asia, Pakistan is an Islamic and federal parliamentary republic with Islam being its state religion.[2] Stipulations set by the Constitution to provide a delicate check and balance of sharing powers between Executive, Parliament, and Judicature are reserved as the federal government shares sovereignty with the provincial governments.[3]

The Prime Minister of Pakistan solely leads the executive government which is independent of the state parliament.[4] A bicameral parliament that is composed of two chambers– the Senate (upper house) and the National Assembly (lower house).[5] The Judicature branch forms with the composition of the Supreme Court as an apex court, alongside the high courts and other inferior courts.[6][7] The judiciary's function is to interpret the Constitution and federal laws and regulations.[8] The President of Pakistan is a ceremonial figurehead who represents the unity of the nation-state; the presidency is a vital part of the Parliament.[9]

Since 1947, the military establishment have played an integral and influential role in country's politics.[10][11][12] As an aftermath of the large-scale conventional war with India in 1971, the two-party system has dominated in Pakistan's politics; although there have been a sharp rise of other political parties.[13][14] Political spectrum has been dominated by the competition between the Pakistan Peoples Party (left-wing) and the Pakistan Muslim League-N (right-wing), however there has been a sharp rise in the Social Democracy led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf since the 2000s.[15][16] Elections are held every five-consecutive years. The new governments are formed through direct elections followed by the electoral college.[17] The early years of the 2000s saw the rise of coalition governments until the general elections held in 2013, which brought back single-party rule in the country, with the PML(N) being able to claim a simple majority.[18]

Pakistan point of interest.

Tourism In pakistan:-
                             Link
The Tourism industry in Pakistan has gone through period's of robust growth and bust, from its heyday during the 1970s when the country received unprecedented amounts of foreign tourists, thanks to the Hippie trail. The main destinations of choice for these tourists were the Khyber Pass, Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, Swat and Rawalpindi.[1] The tourism industry has declined since the start of War on Terror in 2001.[2]

In October 2006, just one year after the 2005 Kashmir earthquake, The Guardian released what it described as "The top five tourist sites in Pakistan" in order to help the country's tourism industry.[3] The five sites included Taxila, Lahore, The Karakoram Highway, Karimabad and Lake Saiful Muluk. To promote Pakistan's unique and various cultural heritage, the Pakistan launched the "Visit Pakistan" marketing campaign in 2007. This campaign involved various events throughout the year including fairs and religious festivals, regional sporting events, various arts and craft shows, folk festivals and several openings of historical museums.[4] In 2009, The World Economic Forum's Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report ranked Pakistan as one of the top 25% tourist destinations for its World Heritage sites. Ranging from mangroves in the South, to the 5,000-year-old cities of the Indus Valley Civilization which included Mohenjo-daro and Harappa.[5]

Pakistan's tourism industry attracted an estimated of 1.1 million foreign tourists annually in 2011 and 966,000 in 2012 contributing $351 million and $369 million respectively.[6] Before declining to 565,212 in 2013 which contributed only $298 million, in 2014, Pakistan received 480,000 foreign tourists contributing $285 million.[7] By comparison, Pakistan's domestic tourism industry is estimated at 50 million domestic tourists who travel within the country on short trips usually travelling between May to August.[8] The largest tourism inflow in 2010 was from United Kingdom, followed by United States, India and China.[9][10] In 2010 Lonely Planet termed Pakistan as being "tourism's ‘next big thing’ for more years than we care to remember. [But] world media headlines [always] send things off the rails".[11]:-
